I haven’t received a verification code

Check your spam folder and use Resend code. Codes expire and can be used once. In a development environment, messages go to a local development sink and are not delivered to a real inbox. Provider acceptance is not confirmed email delivery.

GitHub is not connected

The central GitHub App must be configured before publishers can connect. An organization may require approval for its installation. Reconnect when access is revoked, repositories move, or permissions change.

My release is incomplete

Open the submission findings and read the error code, target and remediation. Missing mapping needs a corrected manifest. An unavailable scanner needs a working approved verification capability. There is no manual “force safe” shortcut.

A newer release failed

A previous still-eligible artifact may remain available for that target. When all versions are revoked or otherwise ineligible, installation is blocked. Scan age alone does not revoke an approved, unchanged release.

Installation did not finish

Check available disk, device compatibility, verification status and the reported adapter error. Download completion or opening an installer is not proof of installation. Respect the operating system’s signing and elevation prompts.

The service is offline

The desktop can browse its cache and launch previously installed applications. New installation requires fresh valid release metadata. Free local workbenches do not depend on permanent online license checks.
